I must have done a good job with the repairs, ‘cause he just brought me 5 footless pajamas and asked me to turn them into footies. Can I say how much I love that he has Black Panther and Unicorn pjs.

My 9 year old lives in footie pajamas. He received new ones for holidays and I hoped it would help him be okay with throwing away the old ratty ones. I was wrong. Putting my skills to work today to be Best Mom Ever.

Somethings happening. Can you see how dirty the water is? It’s been soaking about an hour and a half. The water is still on the hot side. I gave the quilt some turns and will continue to let it soak.

Hot water and blue Dawn dish soap and a bit of soaking in this antique. 🤞🤞🤞. There is really only one nasty stain. It’s small, but it is eating through the fabric.

This is one of three quilts made by my husband’s grandmother that are now in my possession. I promised my Mother in Law I would clean and repair them and then pass them on to my kids. Each fabric inside the windows are about 1 1/2 inches square. And this was all hand stitched. Two are full size and one is queen size. There isn’t much damage to this one. Wish me luck.

Target was handing out these as free samples and I thought “great! My hands are dry, I’ll give that a try”. Now I’m trying to figure out how I can sit still for 10 minutes and not do anything with my hands!!! My hands are always busy, even when watching tv.
